Thank you for taking the time to complete our Guardian Family application. This information is helpful in the selection process. Preferences cannot always be met, it does help us in matching a dog to a family.  Please note, we will only return emails for Guardian opportunities to qualified applicants.

What is a Guardian Home?

Interested in applying to be a part of our Guardian Program?

Guardian families are given the opportunity to provide a loving home for one of our "pick of the litter" puppies, teens, and sometimes adult breeding dogs.  This way, each of our dogs can be loved and cared for in a typical home environment, rather than in kennels. There is no adoption fee, however Guardian families must meet and agree to several requirements regarding the care of the dog. Our Guardian females come back to us at Chestnut Hill Labradoodles for breeding, whelping, and raising their litters and Chestnut Hill is responsible for breeding related costs. Guardian dogs typically have a shorter breeding career, and when completed are spay/neutered at the expense of CHL, and then live out their life as a forever pet of the Guardian family. Guardian families must live within close distance to Dearborn County Indiana.
